AI is an assistant, not a magician

AI coding tools can write a lot of code for you. But they make mistakes, miss details, and sometimes make things up. Your job: describe clearly, check the result, and make the calls.

Write clear prompts

A good prompt includes:

• context: what your app does and who it's for;
• one specific task: one thing at a time;
• constraints: the tech you're using, what not to touch;
• the expected result: how you'll know it works.

Vague prompt: "Make me a dashboard."

Clear prompt: "On the dashboard page, show the signed-in user's quotes, newest first, with the client name, amount, and date. Don't change the login page."
