Building a clear offer
4 min read · Say in a few lines who it's for, what problem it solves, the result, the price, and what's included.
An offer is more than a price
Your offer is what a customer understands in a few seconds: who it's for, what it fixes, what they get, and what it costs. A fuzzy offer drives people away, even with a good product.
The 5 parts of a clear offer
1. Who it's for
Name your audience precisely. "For independent physical therapists" lands better than "for professionals."
2. The problem
Describe the problem in your customers' words. Reuse phrases you heard in interviews.
3. The result
Say what concretely changes afterward. Stay honest: describe a realistic benefit, with no numbers you can't guarantee.
- Good: "Your quotes ready in minutes, not an evening in spreadsheets."
- Avoid: "Double your revenue in a month."
4. The price
Show your price clearly. Say whether it's monthly or annual, and what happens when someone cancels.
5. What's included
List what the customer gets: the main features, support, and any limits. Be upfront about anything that isn't available yet.
